About ISO 9001

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that defines the requirements for an organization's Quality Management System (QMS). This means that they claim to have a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, the only standard in the ISO 9000 family that can be used for conformity assessment purposes. However, it is important to understand that ISO is the body that develops and publishes the standard - ISO does not "certify". Organization, as will be explained later in this brochure.

ISO 9001 is a series of quality management system standards. Requirements cover a wide range of topics, including your supplier's management commitment to quality, customer focus, adequacy of resources, employee capability, process management (for production, service delivery and relevant administrative and support processes).

Quality planning, product design, review of inbound orders, procurement, monitoring and measurement of its processes and products, calibration of measurement equipment, customer complaint resolution process, corrective/preventive action and need for continuous improvement of quality management system. Last but not least, your supplier must monitor customers' perceptions about the quality of the goods and services they provide.
